Chiron Docs

Everything you need to get started and get the most out of Chiron.

    Getting Started

Chiron is an audio effect plugin (AU/VST3) that lives inside your DAW. Download it, drag it onto any track, and start asking questions.

Available for Mac. Windows is coming soon.

    How It Works

Ask questions about your DAW, plugins, hardware, or music theory. Chiron answers based on official documentation — not guesswork.

Interactive visuals like piano rolls, notation, and diagrams appear inline when relevant.

    Shared State

All Chiron instances in a project share the same conversation. You can add multiple instances to different tracks, but they all reference one shared state. One instance is enough.

    Saving Chats

Save your conversations and come back to them later. Chats persist as long as you keep them — they stay until you delete them.

    Your License Key

Each license works on up to 2 devices. One active session at a time.

Don't share your key — Chiron learns your setup and gives personalized guidance based on your workflow. If someone else uses your key with a different setup, the personalization gets confused.

    Settings

Configure your preferred language, DAW, and other preferences in the settings panel.

    Request System

Don't see your favorite plugin or hardware? Use the request system to let us know. The more votes a request gets, the higher priority it becomes.

    Feedback

Thumbs up or thumbs down on any response. Your feedback directly helps improve Chiron's answers.

    Supported Plugins & Hardware

Chiron supports hundreds of plugins and hardware devices. Check the supported items list in the app, or browse the full catalog on the website.

    Languages

Chiron works in 30+ languages. Ask in your language, get answers in your language.
